Our Healthy Practices
Incubation and Research & Development
One of the main pillars of Education at Stanley is the industry support and Research and Development on campus. This will promote Education Excellence at Stanley and will prepare the student community for careers in the industry.
Stanley supports incubation of various industries related to Software, Electronics, Robotics, Electrical and Management Consulting. Most of the employees of the industries incubated on campus will also be part of the faculty and teaching programs. Students stand to benefit from the experience and perspective of the faculty members who are also actively promoting the industry.
Research and Development by the faculty and industry is actively promoted by the Stanley College. As part of this College and Industry collaboration, students will have an opportunity to be research scholars while on campus. There will also be financial assistance available to the students through these researches and Development grants.
Preceptorial system: The precept is a defining component of Stanley education for students to engage actively in their learning process. It provides an open forum in which students are encouraged to voice their opinions and challenge those of their peers. Precepts are led by a professor who teaches the course and sometimes by other faculty members. Read more
Consulting and R&D Participation: Our faculty members are deputed to various national and international workshops and seminars. Stanley faculty also visits other colleges to give expert lectures.
Feedback system: We take a 360 degrees feedback once in two months on our Faculty, Director and the Office Suggestion boxes are kept for every day feedback and response to these suggestions are displayed on the notice board immediately.
Proctor system: To have a close rapport with the students the Proctor system is introduced. Each faculty member is allotted 20 students to have a regular interaction on with them and know their requirements both academic and personal and meet them in an effective way.
