Dr. A. Ramakanth, Ph.D.

Prof. A. Ramakanth has retired in November 2007 as professor of physics, Kakatiya University Warangal. Prof. Ramakanth was involved in formulating and implementation of course material at both under graduate and post graduate level in Kakatiya and several other universities. In particular as member of board of studies of Engineering College, Osmania University he played a role in formulating the course material being implemented now. He has vast experience in teaching all branches of physics. Because of his research he was invited to deliver talks at many national and international conferences and workshops.
Prof. A. Ramakanth has done his masters degree from Osmania University in 1967 and completed his Ph.D. from Saha Institute of Nuclear Physics, Calcutta in 1974. He was DAAD fellow in University of Munster, Germany from 1979-1981. He worked as faculty in the same institute from 1981-82 and also from 1984-86. He worked as lecturer, reader and professor in Kakatiya university, Warangal from 1977-2007.
During 1998-2007, he visited every summer Humboldt University, Berlin to collaborate on research projects. His research interests are in the field of condensed matter theory (strongly correlated electron systems, Magnetism etc). He published more than 50 papers in international journals. He guided 2 students for Ph.D.
Dr. Sreenath Reddy, M.Sc., Ph.D.
Professor of Physics
Dr. Sreenath Reddy, obtained master’s degree in Physics from Nizam College in 1995, Osmania University and Ph.D from Department of Physics in 2003, Osmaina University. He worked as JRF for two years and SRF for one year in the DAE-BRNS project collaborative with EAD, BARC from Nove-1996- Dec-1999. In the advance stage of his research work he took up teaching position at VJIT, Hyderabad and served there more than a decade. He was also worked as HOD, H &S from 2004 to 2008 and HOD, Exams from 2008 to May-2010.
Dr. Reddy is a amicable and caring teacher having experience about 13 years and his areas of teaching interest is Solid state physics, optics, Statistical mechanics, Waves and oscillations and Engineering physics. He has been one of the active research fellows in the area of Environmental Nuclear Radiation and has published 12 papers in the reputed international and national journals, presented 3 papers in the national conferences.
Ms. G. Padmasree, M.Sc., M.Phil., (Ph.D.)
Asst. professor of Physics
Padmasree is a caring teacher with 8 years of experience, dedicated to creating lively and stable environment in the classroom and inspiring students to do their best. She is also experienced in organizing development programs and activities for students in the college. Being a faculty in physics her stress is on to better facilitate student learning in the area of physics.
Padmasree pursued her Masters degree in physics and Master of Philosophy from Hyderabad Central University ( HCU). She is pursuing her Ph.D. in J N T University Hyderabad.
Dr. P. Seshi Reddy, Ph.D.
Professor of Chemistry
Dr. P. Seshi Reddy has been an excellent teacher of chemistry. He was head of the Department of chemistry, University College of Engineering and College of Technology at Osmania University. He worked as professor in the Department of chemistry, Nizam College. He obtained his Ph.D. from Dept. of chemistry, Osmania University. He published his research work in national and international journals and attended national and international conferences.
Ms. M.Sharada Devi, M.Tech.
Associate Professor of Chemistry
M.Sharada Devi has done her M.Sc (Chemistry) from Osmania Campus. She has pursued M.Tech. (Bio Technology) from JNTU, Kukatpally, Hyderabad. She has more than 13 years teaching experience in engineering college and she also worked as Head of the department in the previous institute. She has attended many workshops and refresher courses.

Dr.YVK Ravi Kumar ,M.Sc.,Ph.D
Professor of Mathematics & Training and Placement Officer
Dr.Y.V.K.Ravi Kumar is having 17 years of teaching experience in Engineering Colleges.He worked with Govt.of A.P as a Group - I officer.He published 16 research papers in International Journals like ASME Journal of Fluids Engineering,Journal of Porous Media etc. He is also a reviewer for International Journals.He is a member of Editorial Board of the Journal of Emerging Trends in Engineering and Applied Sciences(JETEAS). He conducted AICTE sponsored National Conference on Mathematical Modelling in Engineering & Technology during 13 - 14,Feb,2010 at Stanley.
He is guiding 6 students for their Ph.D from Rayalaseema University,Kurnool and JNTU,Hyderabad.His areas of research includes Physiological Fluid Dynamics,CFD and Speech Processing.

Mohd.Riyazuddin has 6 years of teaching Experience in Engineering Colleges. He has completed M.Sc. (Applied Mathematics) from Osmania University, M.Phil.(Mathematics) from M.K.University, B.Ed. from Kakatiya University, and M.Tech Computer Science from JNTU Hyderabad.
Mr. Kalidas Nitturkar, M.E., (Ph.D.)
Associate Professor of Civil Engineering
Kalidas is a committed professor with rich teaching experience. He is a post graduate in Structures. Presently, he is pursuing Ph.D. degree in Osmania University. His areas of expertise include Engineering Mechanics, Strength of materials, Building Construction & Technology, Structural Engineering, and Materials & Construction.
He has taught both undergraduate and graduate students at Osmania and Mathrusri Engineering colleges. He worked as project engineer in Malaysia.

Mrs. Nancy Sagar
Assistant professor in ME.
She is a Master’s Degree holder from J.N.T.U Kukatpally and has graduated from C.J.I.T.S Warangal. Having rendered her services for seven years to various educational institutions her approach towards the students has been very effective and efficient . She has honed her skills by Participating and by attending various workshops, seminars and conferences. She has been in the forefront to serve the institutions in its development especially, in the areas Viz. establishing Labs, framing Committees, conducting Workshop, Symposiums at State and National levels. In the current institution she has been instrumental in developing and exploring the animations presentation in the Drawing Hall by equipping it with an LCD Projector promoting the visual aid to the beginner undergraduate students to yet another level.
Ms. Virgilia Richard, M.A., B.Ed., (M.Phil)

Virgilia Richard is an energetic teacher, counselor and has rich experience of 24 years of teaching experience. She is a post graduate in English literature from Osmania University. She also has a bachelor’s degree in Education. She is pursuing M. Phil from Osmania University. She also trains students for IELTS and TOEFL.
Dr. V. Anuradha, M.A., Ph.D.
Associate Professor of English
Dr. V. Anuradha has 16 years of Teaching Experience as an English Faculty at various levels. She has a Master's Degree in English literature from Madras University. She has done her Ph.D., in English Language Teaching from Osmania University. For her doctoral degree, she worked on "The Retraining Program of Degree College English Lecturers", a prestigious program, conducted by the Government of Andhra Pradesh in Collaboration with the USA State Department of Cultural Affairs to update the English Language skills of Degree College Teachers. Apart from being an official observer, she was actively involved in this program and visited many degree colleges of A.P. to interact with the student and teacher community.
Aside from her teaching experience as a lecturer in Engineering Colleges, she was a language trainer at corporate company. She conducted training programmes for the trainees and existing employees.
Dr.V. Anuradha has been a Language and soft skills Trainer at CELT, University College of Engineering, O.U. She has conducted many workshops for CELT. She also coaches for TOEFL and IELTS for students aspiring to go abroad.
