Dr Srinivasu Badugu
Dr. Srinivasu Badugu Professor of Computer Science and Engineering, completed his Ph.D. (doctoral) from the School of Computer and information Sciences, University of Hyderabad (HCU) in the area of Natural Language Processing. He had earned Masters of Technology in Computer Science and Engineering from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Kakinada, India. He obtained Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science and Engineering from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad, India. He also got Diploma in Computer Engineering from State Board of Technical Education and Training, Andhra Pradesh, India.
Dr. Srinivasu Badugu, current research interests include design and implementation of Natural Language understanding systems in Indian Languages, developing Machine learning and Deep learning model for for Indian Language Text and Speech data, in which he has more than 55 publications, in various journals and conferences. He is currently working on design of text summarization, emotion detection, sentiment analysis for Indian Languages using deep neural networks like RNN, BERT,Auto Encoders, Transformer. He is supervising Five Ph.D. students. He has guided 42 M.Tech projects.
He has taught more than 15 PG and UG Subjects including Natural Language Processing, Machine Learning, Data Warehousing & Mining, Web Mining, Semantic Web, Information Retrieval Systems, Database Management Systems, Distributed Databases, Object Oriented Analysis & Design, Object Oriented Programming, Data Structures, Operating Systems, Mathematical Foundations for Computer Science, Computer Networks, Programming Languages like JAVA, C, Visual Basic, Python, perl and Scripting Languages etc.
Dr. Srinivasu Badugu is presently a Professor of Computer Science & Engineering at Department Computer Science and Engineering, Stanley College of Engineering and Technology for Women, since 2014. In addition, he has also handled responsibilities of coordinator of spoken tutorial, IIT-Bomby.
