Dr Y V S Sai Pragathi
Professor
Dr. Y V S Sai Pragathi accomplished her Ph.D. (doctoral) from Computer Science Department, Faculty of Engineering, GITAM University, Visakhapatnam, in the area of Artificial Intelligence and Mobile Networks. She has MTech and B.E from Andhra University, Visakhapatnam. Her research addresses critical concerns in security of Mobile Network protocols. Her Research interests include Cyber Security, Cloud Computing, Artificial intelligence, Speech Processing, Crypto Currencies and Machine learning. She has published papers and patents in these areas and has received best paper awards for her publications. She worked as HOD of CSE Department at Hi-Tech College of Engineering, Hyderabad, Worked as Assistant Professor at VASAVI College of Engineering, Worked as Asst. Professor at GITAM College of Engineering, Vishakhapatnam. This essentially speaks about her passion towards teaching and working on research areas of latest technologies that are relevant to industry.
She has actively participated and coordinated in empowering women development programs – Women security program from police department, Hyderabad. Her recent prominent publications in the area of Machine learning and Artificial Intelligence include which are developed as products by the industry are “Design and implementation of ANFIS to enhance the performance of secure LAR routing protocol in MANETs” in International Journal of Computer Science Trends and Technology, “Development of Realistic models of oil well by modeling porosity using modified ANFIS technique” in International journal of Computer Science and Engineering, “Realtime stock prediction using Transformations and Modeling “ in Journal of Contemporary Issues in Business and Government .
She has conducted and attended faculty development programs and seminars. She guided students on UG and PG projects. She taught the courses Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, Operating systems, Distributed Systems, Real time systems, Information Security, Computer Networks Object Oriented System Design, Compilers, Unix shell programming, Programming in C++, Data structures, Design and analysis of algorithms, Computer Organization and Architecture, Network Security. She worked as coordinator for various programs at Stanley College of Engineering & Technology for women, some of them are Finishing School, NAAC Criteria 6 & Criteria 7 Co-Ordinator, Online Exam in charge for CSE department, In charge HOD, Spoc for the Coursera program and many more.
