Mrs.Afreen Fatima Mohammed

Mrs.Afreen Fatima Mohammed has been associated with Stanley College of Engineering & Technology for Women since 1st July 2015,as an Assistant Professor in IT Department. She has completed her M.Tech in CSE from JNTUH in 2011.Currently she is pursuing Ph.D in CSE from Osmania University,Hyderabad. Her research area is Security in IoT.She has published and presented papers in National and International Conferences.She is an active researcher in the area of Security.Her work deals with the Security issues and mechanisms in the area of IoT,Cloud Computing and Networking. She is also SET qualified.
She has taught subjects like Computer Networks,Network Security and Cryptography,Data Communications,Wireless MobileCommunications,EmbeddedSystems,Automata Theory,Compiler Construction, Software Engineering, Problem Solving using C, OOPS using C++,Advance Computing Concepts,Mathematical Foundation of Computer Science, Computer Organisation.
She has organized workshops like 3 Days Workshop on Research Methodology, 1 Day workshop on Research Articles Writing and Publications, 1 week FDP on Embedded Systems,5 Days FDP on Natural Language Processing .Her roles and responsibilities in the Department includes Mentor,R&D Coordinator, Library Coordinator, Timetable Coordinator, NBA criteria 3,NAAC criteria 3 Coordinator Department Level. She has attended FDPs and Workshops such as 1 week FDP on IoT & Embedded Systems, 1 week FDP on Network Security with ns-3,1 week Short aftermarket Training Course on Research Methodology, 1 week FDP on Advance Cloud Computing Concepts,1 day workshop on Cyber Security.She has also organized Department level events.
Prior to Stanley College, she worked as an Assistant Professor in Shadan Women's College of Engineering and Technology for 6 yrs,from August 2005-July 2011.
She also has an interest to pursue Law in Cyber Security.
