🔸Day 1 of the National-Level One-Week FDP on 'Quantum Computing through the Lens of Mathemetics'

The Department of Mathematics at Stanley College of Engineering and Technology for Women successfully commenced the Faculty Development Program (FDP) on Quantum Computing, blending both online and offline learning until February 7, 2025.

 Explained how Quantum Computing enhances computational power through superposition & entanglement

 Highlighted its impact on drug discovery, AI, material science, secure communication & climate modeling


 𝙂𝙪𝙚𝙨𝙩 𝙎𝙥𝙚𝙖𝙠𝙚𝙧: Dr. Sheikh Ahmed (Woxsen University, Hyderabad)

 Explored Quantum Computing’s role in signal processing & random number generation

 Discussed its transformative impact on cybersecurity, healthcare, defense, biomedical research & nanotechnology


 Dr. V. Anuradha (HoD, Sciences & Humanities)

 Emphasized Mathematics as the backbone of Quantum Computing for quantum mechanics, circuit design & algorithm development
