Research & Innovation

Department of Research and Development (R&D) at Stanley College of Engineering and Technology for Women was initiated in 2008. This Department is headed by Dr. Ramakrishna Kolikipogu. The R&D Dept has an open ecosystem for the students and staff to learn, innovate and experiment the ideas in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics. The R&D has strong committed hands to support the students to think out of the box and explore to real-time problems and solutions. Major focus of the R&D at Stanley is to nurture the young engineers on 21st Century Technologies, further shall join their hands in MAKE IN INDIA mission.

The aim of the R&D is to bring Research, Innovation and Entrepreneurial culture in the campus by connecting to Industry and Research Organizations. It has taken couple of initiatives to build an ecosystem where the stakeholders can take-up research activities to incubate their ideas. 

Two R&D Centres under CSE department and ECE department are recognized by Osmania University, wherein the senior faculty members are recognized to guide the research scholars under the university. These centres are strongly connected to industry and holding potential consultancy projects in the fields of Health Care, Agri-Tech, Data Science, Industrial Research, e-Commerce, Networking, Natural Language Processing etc.
