Stanley College of Engineering and Technology for Women (Autonomous), Hyderabad, organised a grand Orientation Programme for first-year engineering students on 18 August 2026.

The programme featured eminent industry experts who guided students on Artificial Intelligence, emerging technologies, career opportunities, skill development, curiosity, innovation and strong fundamentals. Ms. Sirisha Somayajula, Assistant Vice President – Engineering, Ness Digital Engineering, attended as Guest of Honour, while Mr. Upendra Pisupati, Director and Market Leader – US Delivery, Kindryl Solutions, was the Chief Guest. Mr. Raj Kumar Bonagiri and Mr. Srinivas Kaligatla also attended as Guests.

The speakers encouraged students to embrace AI responsibly, develop curiosity and creative thinking, strengthen their fundamentals and contribute to nation-building. Academic Excellence Awards were presented to meritorious students. The Anti-Ragging Squad conducted a parade, followed by the Anti-Ragging Pledge.

The programme was attended by the Secretary & Correspondent, Management Members, Directors, Principal, Heads of Departments, faculty, students, parents and well-wishers.
