The Induction Programme 2026 was organized by the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering at Stanley College of Engineering & Technology for Women (Autonomous) on 19th August 2026. The programme was conducted from 9:30 AM to 3:30 PM with the objective of welcoming the newly joined students and familiarizing them with the institution, faculty, academic environment, laboratories and various activities of the department.
The programme commenced with the lighting of the lamp and invocation song, followed by a welcome dance performed by S. Srinija, VII Semester. The HOD, Department of ECE, delivered the Welcome Address and warmly welcomed the students to the department.
The students were then addressed by the distinguished dignitaries, including Dr. Satya Prasad Lanka, Dean – Innovation, Planning and Accreditation.Dr.A.Gopala Sharma. Their addresses provided the students with valuable guidance and motivation regarding academics, discipline, innovation and their overall development.
Following the inaugural session, an Introduction to the Faculty of ECE was organized, enabling the students to become familiar with the faculty members and the department. After a short break, the programme continued with an Alumni Connect and Bonding with Seniors, which provided an opportunity for students to interact with seniors and alumni and gain useful insights into college life and academic experiences.
The students actively participated in Technical Games, followed by a visit to the Library and ECE Laboratories. These activities helped the students understand the academic and technical facilities available in the department.
The technical lecture was delivered by Mrs. Lakshmi Bindu. V, Life Transformation & Wealth Mindset Coach, on the topic “Beyond the Circuits: Become the Engineer of Tomorrow.”
The session focused on encouraging students to look beyond conventional technical knowledge and develop the mindset, skills and confidence required to become successful engineers of the future. The lecture emphasized the importance of personal development, positive thinking, continuous learning and developing a broader perspective towards career and life.
The session was highly engaging and inspirational, motivating the students to recognize their potential, embrace new opportunities and prepare themselves to meet the evolving demands of the engineering profession. The programme concluded with the Valedictory Session and Feedback, where students shared their experiences and feedback regarding the induction programme.
