The Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Stanley College of Engineering and Technology for Women, in collaboration with the ACM-W Stanley Student Chapter and CSI Stanley Student Branch, successfully conducted a One-Week Bootcamp on IoT and Drone Technologies from 8th to 12th September 2025. The Bootcamp provided an intensive platform for students to gain hands-on experience in IoT and Drone Applications through technical sessions, workshops, and project-based learning. Participants worked on sensor integration, real-time data collection, automation, and drone navigation, gaining practical exposure that bridged academic concepts with real-world applications. The program not only enhanced technical expertise but also fostered teamwork, problem-solving, and innovation skills, preparing students for opportunities in research, startups, and industry. The Valedictory Ceremony was graced by Dr. Korra Lakshman, Additional Director, NIELIT Hyderabad, along with Dr. B. L. Raju, Principal, Dr. R. Madana Mohan, Head of the Department–CSE, and Dr. Potu Narayana, CSI Student Branch Coordinator. Special recognition was given to Dr. P. R. Anisha, ACM Faculty Sponsor, for initiating and encouraging this innovative and impactful initiative. The event was also attended by Shri K. Krishna Rao, Secretary and Correspondent, Sri T. Rakesh Reddy, Sri R. Pradeep Reddy, and Mr Ramesh, Administrative Officer, who congratulated the participants and appreciated the efforts of the organizers. In their addresses, the dignitaries highlighted the transformative role of IoT and Drone technologies in domains such as smart cities, agriculture, defense, and healthcare, and urged students to leverage these skills for innovation, entrepreneurship, and societal progress.
